There were everything from toddlers to elderly and I can say from the look of it everyone enjoyed. You definitely feel the medieval era as soon as you enter, there are little presentations before the show so make sure you get there early, we were there an hour before. It was awesome definitely worth the $49.95 per person.

Watched it in The Cable Guy movie and knew I had to go there. But hey, you're really paying for a show - which was fun - but it was an incredibly expensive evening. My chicken was dry and the potato is also very dry, although my teen brother and sister-in-law said they liked their chicken. Make sure you ASK how much ANYTHING costs before committing to it, because they won't freely offer it to you. I got wine in a souvenir cup for a whopping $18. The show was fun, and my teenaged brother enjoyed taunting the rival knights (we were in the front row). However, when my sister-in-law called to make reservations, she was quickly suckered into upgrading us to the "celebration package" which was an extra $16 per person, which turned out to be even MORE than what my brother's ticket would have cost.

There were 4 of us and the maryland castle has a promotion that if you have 3 full price admissions, you get the birthday guest for free (have to prove the birthday is in the same month). I was excited to go to Medieval Times for my adult brother's birthday. If you've never been I highly recommend you give it a try even if the knight theming is not your thing. It's a great place to take a family for a night of food and entertainment. Fortunately the main show did not suffer from the same short comings.

The sound system for the preshow was terrible and the sound was very muffled. Due to fitting the castle within a mall section there was no real balcony or mezzanine and it was difficult to see and hear the preshow. The one thing that did not work well in this castle was the preshow.

Though the ribs are tender they seem more steamed than roasted or grilled and don't have that browned crust to them that I like, Even without the ribs you get more than enough food and drink plus a small, hot pastry for desert. I prefer the vegetable beef soup they used to serve over the tomato soup they now serve but that's a personal preference. The food for the most part is excellent especially the roast chicken, toasted bread and roasted potato. The show was very good as usual though they had made some changes from the show format we had last seen in California. I was skeptical of the castle being part of a mall but I think it works well and probably helps to draw in people during times when business might be a bit slow. We went to this castle on a recent visit to the area and it was our 5th of the 9 castles they have.
